Integers (Z): The collection of natural numbers, zero, and negative numbers. (இயல் எண்கள், பூச்சியம் மற்றும் குறை எண்களின் தொகுப்பு முழுக்களாகும்).
On the number line, negative integers are to the left of zero, and positive integers are to the right. (எண் கோட்டில் பூச்சியத்திற்கு இடப்புறமாகக் குறை முழுக்களையும் வலப்புறமாக மிகை முழுக்களையும் குறிக்கிறோம்).

When adding two integers of the same sign, add and keep the same sign. (ஒரே குறியுடைய இருமுழுக்களின் கூட்டல் பலன், இரு எண்களின் கூடுதல் ஆகும். மேலும் அதே குறியைப் பெற்றிருக்கும்).
When adding two integers of different signs, find the difference and keep the sign of the greater integer. (வெவ்வேறு குறிகளையுடைய இரு முழுக்களின் கூட்டல் பலன், அவ்விரு எண்களின் வேறுபாடு ஆகும். மேலும் பெரிய எண்ணின் குறியைப் பெற்றிருக்கும்).
Closure (அடைவுப் பண்பு): a + b is an integer.
Commutative (பரிமாற்றுப் பண்பு): a + b = b + a.
Associative (சேர்ப்புப் பண்பு): a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c.
Additive Identity (கூட்டல் சமனி): Zero (0). a + 0 = a = 0 + a.
Additive Inverse (கூட்டல் எதிர்மறை): For any integer a, -a is the additive inverse. a + (-a) = 0.

To subtract an integer, add its additive inverse. (ஒரு முழுவைக் கழிப்பதற்கு மாற்றாக அதனுடைய கூட்டல் நேர்மாறைக் கூட்டலாம்).
Closure Property holds true for subtraction (a – b is an integer).
Commutative & Associative Properties do NOT hold for subtraction. (கழித்தலானது பரிமாற்றுப் பண்பு மற்றும் சேர்ப்புப் பண்பை நிறைவு செய்யாது).

(+) × (+) = (+) | (-) × (-) = (+) | (+) × (-) = (-)
Product of an even number of negative integers is Positive. (குறை முழுக்களை இரட்டைப்படை எண்ணிக்கையில் பெருக்கக் கிடைப்பது மிகை முழு).
Product of an odd number of negative integers is Negative. (குறை முழுக்களை ஒற்றைப் படை எண்ணிக்கையில் பெருக்கக் கிடைப்பது குறை முழு).
Multiplicative Identity (பெருக்கல் சமனி): One (1). a × 1 = a = 1 × a.
Closure, Commutative, Associative Properties hold true for multiplication.
Distributive Property (பங்கீட்டுப் பண்பு): a × (b + c) = (a × b) + (a × c).

Division of two integers with the same sign is Positive. (ஒத்த குறியுடைய இரு முழுக்களை வகுக்கக் கிடைப்பது மிகை முழு).
Division of two integers with opposite signs is Negative. (மாறுபட்ட குறிகளையுடைய இரு முழுக்களை வகுக்கக் கிடைப்பது குறை முழு).
Integers are NOT closed, NOT commutative, and NOT associative under division.
An integer divided by zero is not defined (வரையறுக்கப்படவில்லை). Zero divided by a non-zero integer is zero.
